im sorry

It is a well known fact that humans are stupid. This stupidity would vary in severity and frequency from person to person and no one is excused from this. There are some people who would be stupid only upon waking up and would disappear as the day continues while there are those who continue to be stupid all throughout. Even the most intelligent people have their share of stupidity. Now, this stupidity has many names such as being absentminded, forgetful, and dimwitted, and many more. But no matter what you call it, this condition would often lead to us making mistakes.
In the event that we commit mistakes, we were taught early in our childhood to apologize and say sorry. As we grow up, I’ve noticed that saying sorry is no longer an expression of regret or sorrow, but as an order for the offended party to forgive the offender, and as such the essence of saying sorry is lost.
This guideline is intended to help return the essence of saying sorry and to make it more meaningful.
The first step in saying sorry is to actually feel a sense of remorse or grief. To give emphasis to this step, imagine the act of saying sorry without feeling being sorry. Not only is your word a contradiction to what you truly feel, but it is also a lie. Some people may actually find this hard to do, but believe me, it actually happens all the time. You may not be sorry for your initial action, but you could be sorry for the result of your actions. To give this a concrete meaning, allow me to give an example. You cheated on your girlfriend or boyfriend due to a number of reason, be it boredom of the relationship or attraction to another. You may not actually feel sorry for having cheated. In fact, you may even enjoy your cheating escapade. In this situation, no grief of remorse actually took place. But, because you cheated, it resulted in the end of your relationship even though you really love him or her. Now, this is actually something you would actually regret.
The second step is to actually make-known your feelings without expecting instant absolution. The main purpose of this step is just to announce your inner feelings which is guilt or remorse. Currently, this step is being performed without the sense of remorse, which removes the essence of this step.
The last step in attaining forgiveness is to do something about it. Doing something about it doesn’t mean forcing the offended party to forgive you. Rather, it means finding ways to be forgiven. With regards to this step, there is no magic bullet that would guarantee instant redemption. Allow me to present an example on this. On being unfaithful, you must show your faithfulness and in the case of dishonesty, you must show you truthfulness. You can never appease the offended party by being honest in the case of unfaithfulness and by being faithful in the case of dishonesty.
Some people may not recognize your actions as an act of contrition, but it is a possible consequence of your actions. Saying sorry is about making-known your heartfelt remorse and not about redemption from your actions.
Making mistakes may be a part of life, but so it taking responsibility for your actions. Knowing how to properly say you’re sorry may not bring about instant forgiveness, but rest assured that the forgiveness attained is much more meaningful.

Thank you
In the land of Madagasgas, beside the river Gee-gee was the kingdom of Penggoy where a majestic rainbow would appear everyday 3 hours before nighttime. The foot of the rainbow would always land at the trunk of the Tolsan tree, the provider for the people of Penggoy. The depth of the color of the rainbow would always depend on the color river gee-gee for the rainbow would always reflect the ever changing color of the river gee-gee.
The Goddess Ladislawa, the creator of the kingdom of Penggoy, designed the houses to be the same in all aspects. The life of the Onggoys, people of the kingdom of Penggoy, is always revolving around certain rituals, ranging from the blessing of the foods to the prayer before defecating.
All the Onggoys knew one another, but the most prominent member was a histrionic by the name of Mel. For 5 minutes every day, he would admire his reflection in the river gee-gee. For 5 minutes, he would simply talk to himself about how handsome he is and for 5 minutes, the winds from the north would intensify on an exponential scale.
According to the chever law, the length of time that Mel admires himself is directly proportional to the intensity of the wind produced afterwards. Also, this length of time is usually equal to how long the wind will last. One day, after a very inspiring dream about being chased by the lovely maidens of Penggoy, Mel awoke and immediately rushed to the river gee-gee to admire himself. Due to the increased libido brought about by the dream, his ritual, which usually lasted for 5 minutes, dragged on for 30 minutes. The winds produced by the rituals that day were so strong that it blew the roofs of the houses of Penggoy.
Far north, in the kingdom of Cheilosis, princess Shayra, the 3rd in line to the throne, was playing with the gem of true sight, a gift to her by her uncle before he died while fighting in the orcish war. The winds brought about by the ritual of Mel had blown away the gem of true sight from the grasps of Princess Shayra and is heading towards the kingdom of Penggoy. Princess Shayra tried to run after the gem but soon after, she was already gasping for air. While she was chasing after the gem, she soon encountered a figure riding a horse and holding an emblem which recognized himself as one from the order of the moon riders, the all-female specialized knights of the throne. Upon reaching the moon rider, Princess Shayra pleaded the moon rider. At first, the moon rider, named Tavernus, declined to help Princess Shayra for she was entrusted by the king on a special mission. After Tavernus recognized Princess Shayra as the daughter of King Abadon, she immediately begged her forgiveness and immediately made-haste towards the kingdom of Penggoy.
Upon arriving at Penggoy, Tavernus immediately begged Princess Shayra to forgive her for she must attend to the important task assigned to her by the king. By this time, the strong winds produced by the ritual of Mel had died down. Princess Shayra, alone and forlorn in a strange and unfamiliar environment, journeyed around the streets of Penggoy looking for the gem of true sight. She saw it at the topmost branch on the Tolsan tree. She circled the Tolsan tree, formulating a plan how to retrieve the gem of true sight. Mel, who was returning home after his ritual, saw princess Shayra and was immediately captivated by her shining shimmering lip-gloss. At first, Mel just admired her from a distance, even taking out a piece o parchment and drawing her. After a while, Mel could stand it no longer and approached Princess Shayra. When princess Shayra saw Mel, she asked for his help in retrieving the gem. At that instance, Mel, who felt as though he was a the prince charming in a fairy tale, agreed to fetch the gem of true sight but only if princess Shayra would consent to a date. Princess Shayra agreed to the terms of Mel and Mel immediately started climbing the Tolsan tree. The climb up the Tolsan tree to retrieve the gem of true sight was tiring and dangerous but Mel had his sights on that date promised by princess Shayra.
When he was finally able to return the gem of true sight to princess Shayra, princess Shayra just took the gem, turned around, and started walking away. Mel grabbed her by the shoulder and reminded her of the agreement. After hearing this, princess Shayra started to laugh and began mocking Mel. She told him how ugly he was. At first Mel was shocked by such a comment but then he regained his composure for he thought that she was only playing hard to get. After arguing for a while, Tavernus arrived to return princess Shayra to the kingdom of Cheilosis. Upon seeing that princess Shayra was conversing with an ugly commoner, she asked why princess Shayra was conversing with someone so ugly. When Mel heard this, his libido hit an all-time low and he was very depressed. While looking at princess Shayra being carried away by a moon rider, tears started to roll down his cheeks.
When those tears hit the ground, the ground began shake. Mel became more afraid when muds and stones clumped together to form a being. The pseudo-human being began to speak and introduced himself as Tubelette and informed Mel that he wanted to help him. When Mel asked Tubelette why he wanted to help him, Tubelette responded by informing Mel of how his ancestor started the magic which created him. Tubelette s gesture of helping Mel was just a form of gratitude to the magic created by the ancestors of Mel. Tubelette instructed Mel to travel beyond the mountain Jifu to the land of Chaka where Zharlotta, an entity so magical that he is both a witch and a wizard at the same time lived. Tubelette said that only Zharlotta holds the magic powerful enough to help Mel. Mel thanked Tublette for the advice and immediately made-haste towards the land of Chaka to seek the all powerful witch/wizard.
After travelling the treacherous terrains of mount Jifu for 4 months, Mel finally arrived at the land of Chaka. The caste of Zharlotta wasn’t exactly difficult to find for it was the only pink-colored casted lined with flowers and unicorns and surrounded by a moat, filled with flower horns, that empties into the ocean in the entire land. When Mel entered the castle of Zharlotta for an audience with him, his first impression of Zharlotta was that of fear for Zharotta was a very huge witch/wizard. But later, as the two talked for a while, Mel’s fear was gradually replaced by pity when Zharlotta shared of his being an angel in the past but was later condemned to the ground when his wings became a lump in his back and finally broke off.
When Mel finally asked Zharlotta for a solution to his problem, Zharlotta said the only way to accomplish his goal was to drink the love potion number nine. Love potion number nine was the most magical potion ever concocted and had the ability to cure any disease and restore youthful beauty. When Mel asked if he could have this love potion number nine, Zharlotta said no because, aside from the fact that the ingredients for the potions were extremely rare, he needed the potion to cure the pain brought about by the breaking off of his wings. When he heard this, Mel was deeply saddened by the fact that he made this journey for nothing. Upon seeing the sad look on Mels face, Zharlotta said that Mel could stay in his castle and he would give him a tour of the land tomorrow. But first, Zharlotta said that they should regain their strength and rest. Later that night, Mel sneaked into the chambers of Zharlotta. He tied him up and threw him into the moat. When Zharlotta was already floating towards the ocean, Mel searched Zharlotta’s castle to find the love potion number nine. Due to the vast area covered by the castle, it took Mel 3 days to find the potion.
Upon locating the potion, he wasted no time traveling to the kingdom of Cheilosis. While travelling to the kingdom of Cheilosis, he decided that he would drink the love potion number nine in front of princess Zhayra. When he arrived at the kingdom of Cheilosis, everyone was in a gloomy mood. When he asked around, a farmer who was pulling his horse said that the most beautiful princess of Cheilosis, princess Shayra was afflicted with AIDS and that she only had 2 weeks to live. Upon hearing this, he stormed the castle walls and located princess Zhayra.
Princess Zhayra was so pale and thin that the circumference of her proximal leg was the same as the circumference of her arm. Instead of drinking the potion, he decided to give the potion to princess Zhayra. When princess Zhayra drank the potion, her youthful beauty began to rush back to her. Mel was truly happy for princess Zhayra but he was also sad because he knew that he was still very ugly. He spoke to princess Zhayra before leaving her castle, saying to her how he sacrificed his youthful handsome face to save her. Princess Zhayra, a bit skeptical, confirmed if Mel was really handsome in his youth. Mel wouldn’t take any more insults after such a sacrifice so he just walked away.
As he walked away, he felt a hand take hold of his arm and what happened next seemed surreal. The hand that grabbed him pulled him. His body made a 90-degre turn due to the pull. Then a hand made his head turn another 90-degree after which he could feel something wet and soft press against his lips. He couldn’t believe it but princess Zhayra was pressing her shining shimmering lip gloss against his lips. When their lips finally parted, princess Zhayra whispered something so soft that Mel could hardly hear it.
